Our resident C.S. Lewis expert, Dustin Adams, will be leading us through a 5-week study of Lewis' The Problem of Pain.
Through reading and discussion, we will experience Lent in meaningful ways. See recorded sessions below.
“God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts to us in our pain: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”

The teaching and discussion will be centered on the book, The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis, and led by local C.S. Lewis scholar, Dustin Adams.
Lewis wrote with a perspective from a life of profound suffering: the childhood loss of his mother and distance of his father, his own front-line trench warfare experiences in World War 1, rejection by his academic colleagues, and the all-too-early death of his wife, Joy.
From the introductory chapter:
"...pain would be no problem unless, side by side with our daily experience of this painful world, we had received what we think a good assurance that ultimate reality is righteous and loving."
We hope you'll join us either online or in our classroom setting. Fr. Jack Estes, Anglican pastor and teacher, will facilitate.
PLUS, when you register, we'll make sure you have
